In the European Parliament, we are discussing the right to independent living for people with disabilities. Accessibility is key in this regard – in healthcare, housing, education, and other areas of life.
Let’s also remember that supporting people with disabilities is not a cost, as far-right politicians claim. It is an investment in the future and an expression of our empathy and solidarity – values that are fundamental to Poland and the EU.
