With people in mind
As a Member of the European Parliament, I base my work on dialogue, cooperation and building lasting relationships — with the residents of my region, partners in Poland and across Europe. I believe that only through conversation, mutual respect and openness can we effectively respond to people's real needs.
I have been connected with the Silesian-Opole region since birth, and this sense of responsibility for my region is the foundation of my work. Opole and Lower Silesia need a strong voice in Europe — a representative who speaks openly about their interests and works not for themselves, but for the place they love. That is why my priority is to represent the region with dignity and to support local authorities and residents in effectively using the opportunities offered by the European Union. In my work, I focus on cooperation beyond divisions, because only that leads to lasting results.
I set my goals high — I do it for those who placed their trust in me. My mission is to be close to people, listen to them, and together build a better future.
I was born in Kluczbork in 1965 and I am still connected with this city to this day. I graduated from the Academy of Physical Education and completed postgraduate studies.
I worked as a teacher at the Secondary School Complex in Kluczbork, and then as the director of the Sports and Recreation Centre in Kluczbork.
I served as a councillor of Opole Voivodeship, a member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, and from 2013 to 2024 as the Marshal of Opole Voivodeship. I currently serve as a Member of the European Parliament. I sit on the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs, the Committee on Regional Development, and the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection.

To ważny dzień dla Kędzierzyna-Koźla i całego regionu. Dzięki środkom Unii Europejskiej z KPO oraz zaangażowaniu Powiatu Kędzierzyńsko-Kozielskiego zakończono jedne z największych inwestycji zdrowotnych w historii powiatu 👏👏🏥 Ponad 7️⃣7️⃣ milionów złotych na nowoczesną opiekę onkologiczną i geriatryczną to realna poprawa jakości leczenia, bezpieczeństwa pacjentów i warunków pracy personelu medycznego. Z perspektywy Brukseli warto podkreślać jedno: fundusze europejskie mają sens wtedy, kiedy przekładają się na konkretne zmiany blisko dla Nas 🇪🇺
Co aktualnie dzieje się w Parlamencie Europejskim? 🇪🇺 Prace trwają na wielu poziomach — od przyszłego budżetu UE i funduszy po 2028 roku, przez uproszczenia dla małych firm, po konkurencyjność rolnictwa i programy wspierające dzieci w szkołach.📈📄 Wspólnie z delegacją PO-PSL złożyliśmy już ponad 150 poprawek i dalej pilnujemy, aby głos polskich regionów, przedsiębiorców i rolników był słyszany w Europie. Współpraca i codzienna praca w komisjach 🙌
Bardzo żałuję, że nie mogłem być dziś z Państwem w Opolu. Obowiązki w Parlamencie Europejskim sprawiły, że musiałem zostać w Brukseli. Wiem jednak, że było to wyjątkowe spotkanie. Blisko tysiąc seniorów, wspólny śpiew, tańce, występy artystyczne i przede wszystkim radość z bycia razem. Takie chwile mają ogromną wartość.💃🏻🕺🏻😊 W moim imieniu uczestniczył Dyrektor Biura Poselskiego Michał Panicz, który przekazał Państwu moje serdeczne pozdrowienia i wyrazy uznania. Dziękuję organizatorom za przygotowanie tego pięknego święta, a wszystkim Seniorom życzę dużo zdrowia, niegasnącej energii i jak najwięcej powodów do uśmiechu. Do zobaczenia przy kolejnej okazji! 👏👏👏
