Since August 31st, we have been hosting two interns at our office – Polish students interested in pursuing a career on the international stage. They assist us with our daily work and also attend committee meetings, conferences, and other sessions held within the European Parliament, where they have the opportunity to learn about various initiatives organized by our institution. Last week, for example, they had the opportunity to attend an exhibition on robotics based on Artificial Intelligence (AI), including so-called “physical AI,” as well as a panel discussion on Russian disinformation in Polish and global media and social media.
This week, they will represent us at the Youth Week, organized in the European Parliament by the European People’s Party. This is a great opportunity for young people to have a real impact on the development of the European community. As part of the Youth Week, they will have the opportunity to participate in workshops on climate initiatives as well as security and defense. The outcome of their work will be the “Youth Declaration” as well as political campaign proposals, from which all participants will select the best idea. We are very pleased to host them in our office and to share with them the knowledge and experience gained in European institutions.
