Debate on the Motion of No Confidence in the European Commission

A crucial debate took place in the European Parliament, culminating in a vote on a motion of no confidence against President Ursula von der Leyen and the European Commission, which represents all member states.

The vote rejected the motion of no confidence.

Within the EPP Group, of which I am a member, we succeeded in uniting the largest pro-European groups to effectively reject the motion submitted by far-right MEPs.

It is our responsibility to protect the foundations of the Union.

It is disappointing that the PiS MEPs do not understand this, as they voted in lockstep with pro-Russian forces seeking to destabilize the situation.
