Pressure makes sense and yields results. Together with Marta Wcisło – a Member of the European Parliament – we intervened as early as last October with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen regarding the dire situation facing Polish fertilizer producers due to the flood of products from Russia and Belarus into the EU market. This set in motion a series of developments that led to the adoption of new, fairer trade tariffs.
Our voice was heard, as evidenced by a letter from the President of the European Commission herself.
