This morning, we had two long but successful voting sessions in my parliamentary committees:
Regional Development and Employment.
We adopted our position on the so-called cohesion policy mid-term review. We are adapting EU funds to new challenges.
Specifically: local authorities will be able to allocate EU funds to new priorities:
▪️ housing, defense and dual-use activities, and water resource management. In addition, there will be greater flexibility, large advance payments, and a higher co-financing rate. This is good news for local governments and residents.
