112 – Three Digits That Save Lives
Today we mark International 112 Day the emergency number shared across the entire European Union.
It is the number that connects emergency services and delivers real help when every second counts.
Thank you to all 112 operators, firefighters, paramedics, and police officers for their daily service often at the cost of their own time and family life.
Safety is the foundation of a strong community.
And responsibility begins with awareness. It’s worth reminding children and young people when and how to use the emergency number.
Let’s remember: 112 works across all of Europe.
